Can't uninstall Version Cue!

Okay, Version Cue won't start for me. It always hangs. And it won't let me disable it either because I turned on the checkbox for loading it at startup.
So I figured I'd run the uninstaller. Well THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER! If I go to the Adobe Creative Suite Add/Remove Control panel thing, the "uninstall" radio box thing is greyed out as I've already tried to uninstall it.
Any ideas??

Adam,
If version cue isn't working for you at all, I'd first ask if you have
any firewall software running? But if you cannot use the uninstaller,
I'd recommend running something like Norton Utiltiies, followed by a
re-install of the software and then another de-install.

It was a fresh install of Windows XP SP2. I had changed the Version Cue directory.
Since then I've reinstalled and uninstalled it for now. It would've been nice if it worked though.
Yes, I was logged in with Admin rights.
