I worked on a project in VC to test the waters and see how it worked. For the most part, I liked what I was seeing, until I went to repginate a book in InDesign.

Repaginating opens each document in the book, adjusts its page number, and then saves. This is all done invisibly by InD. Howeverm, with VC, it was prompting me to name the version of each document. Am I doing something wrong, or is it intended that whenever you open a file, do anything to it, and the put the file away, you need to create a new version?

Thanks,
-Paul

Did you ever hear anything about this? Does anyone have any comments?

I am evaluating VC for use in a large (150+ users) production environment in which the InDesign book format is widely used. If the behavior discribed above is indeed a function of VC, that would really shoot me in the foot...
