I got the impression from the Version Cue info PDF that multiple Workspaces could be set up on a network (up to one per installed Creative Suite). Is this the case?
How are are multiple workspaces handled in the UI?
- Do they appear as one large 'pool' of projects?
- Do users have to select which Workspace they wish to browse? If so, is this in preferences or in a quickly accessible place like the Open/Save dialogs?

Yes, you have the choice to set up multiple Workspaces on a network OR have your workgroup share a single Workspace on a dedicated hosted computer. The multiple Workspaces will appear as separate destinations with the Version Cue dialog. They broadcast their presence so there is no need to hunt around looking for them or entering a specific address. This is automatic when your workgroup in on the same LAN. Once you select a workspace, it will appear at the top of the list the next time you go to save a file to this managed location (like a favorite in a web browser.) All of the UI is within the Open/Save dialog, directly within your workflow.
In the Advanced Workspace Administration tool, you have the option to have your project visible to others (or not) and have other advanced security settings. These settings can be applied to each Workspace on your network so you have both private and shared Workspaces if you desire. More information is within the Version Cue help documents.

I'd like a little more clarification on setting up Version Cue. I have one Mac workstation with CS Standard. I save all my documents on a Windows server set up with Macintosh services enabled. I'd like to us Version Cue but keep all my files on the Windows server. How do I set this up?

I would like to know if you have any clarification on this. I am just evaluating Version Cue now, and we are in the same boat in terms of using Windows servers with Mac services. Apparently Version Cue can use networked shares, but how does this work in real life?
All of our documents and shared graphics files are strewn across several shared volumes.
Thanks for any help
