Just set up a new site in GLCS, but when I Add Files, I keep getting ARM errors.
What's an ARM error and what do I do about it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you supply details about what the sequence of menu choices, mouse clicks etc. you have taken that produce the ARM errors? Information about your computer environment will be useful, too (type of computer, OS, etc.)

Bob. I am having the same issue. I have tried to convert a site to a Version Cue site and I get nothing but arm errors of the type "ARM error: The Interface is invalid (-6653). I have tried creating a new site and then selecting "import from GoLive site and also under the site menu selecting "convert to Version Cue. Neither one works. I reinstalled Version Cue--no help. I'm running Mac OS X 10.3.3 on a Dual 1ghz G4. I have had the same problem on several systems. Has this software ever worked?

I'm getting loads of ARM errors as well (-1, 16, 17 are most common).
Typically these seem to happen after using VC for a little while, checking a few files in or out. At some point (especially if GoLive crashes, although it happens at other times too) VC seems to loose sync with itself, or GoLive, or something.
From that point forward, I can't check files out. Quite often VC claims that the file is "locked by another user" but it shows _my_ name as the locker!
I've tried resetting VC user locks in the VC administrative console. This releases the locks, but I'm still unable to check out any files. I've also tried starting and stopping VC, and deleting my working directory and re-creating it. Still no luck -- it appears that the VC project repository must be completely whacked.
At this point I've pretty well given up hope that VC can be a useful product.
