IDCS Documents won't stay open

When I save a document to version cue it closes upon save. When I open a document, from version cue, the fonts open then the document opens briefly then closes and the fonts are closed. I'm using IDCS and Extensis Suitcase X1(v11.0.2). Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I've got projects I need to get done! Thanks.

There have been problems reported with Suitcase auto font activation plug-in. Try removing that.

I removed the Suitcase auto activation plug-in and restarted my mac. Same things still happening though now it doesn't wait to open/close the fonts. In the VC dialog box it shows the document is "ready for use". Very confusing.
