Has Adobe considered porting Version Cue to one of the various flavors of Linux. Or has anyone out there managed to kluge vc onto a linux build.
I currently run two RedHat Enterprise Linux file servers supporting a small design group. I'd like to be able to use versioning to get around what has been a difficult work flow with Adobe products, this is becoming critical as we shift from Quark to InDesign.

Any help, even a flat out no we havent or no we arent going to would be helpful.

Adobe doesn't announce things of this type.

I should not be a great thing to port it.

Version Cue seems to be mysql and java (tomcat) based...
....even some eclipse file seem to be there...

going to try to port it...

You had better read section 4.2 of the licensing agreement first:

4.2 No Modifications. Except as permitted in Section 14, you may not modify, adapt or translate the Software.....

I don't see any clauses in section 14 to override that as far as VC is concerned.
