I am having an issue with PS CS2. Don't know what the correct "noun" is for what I am trying to do but I will try to explain it. If you know the correct term for what I am doing I would appreciate learning what it is. I tried to look up in the help but I need help knowing what to call it.

In all previous versions of PS when you opened several files you could simply click on the box at the top right between the _ and the x to "maximize" or fill the screen with the top file. When you closed the top file the remaining files would also be at "maximized" on the screen. In CS2 you have to "maximize" each file. How can we preset our preferences to make all opened files "maximize" when you "maximize" one of them? I crop hundreds of files at a time and find it easier when they are "maximized" rather than "restored down".

Hopefully someone will know how to do this without having to "maximize" each individual opened file.

Thanks,

Al

Try this: Shift+click the "fullscreen view with menu bar" button (the central one on the series of three) on the Photoshop toolbar, on top of the jump to image ready button. Using this mode allows you to pan the image. CTRL+Tab to change the open document.

Pierre,

That works except you are now in full screen mode and unable to minimize the individual files...

There has to be a simple setting that will work...

Thanks,

Al
