It would be nice if Adobe would allow automatic installation of the goodies in the goodies folder as they do for the programs. It's very confusing sometimes to know where to put them and the instructions leave a lot to be desired. If after reading the information as to what they do, it should be possible for one to select "install".

I think some of the stuff is dangerous, untested (fully) or just not supported. i think they leave them there for people who really want/need them, and i believe adobe's stance on them is "use at your own risk"...
not that i necessarily disagree with you, there could probably be a seperate installer in the goodies folder where you could pick and choose what to throw on your disk and would present you with a 'not responsible blah blah blah' warning, i'm just trying to give a rationale. it's not like it's difficult to throw together a quick and dirty install package with wise or installshield...
