Error message"Could not complete your request because the type layer uses a faux bold style"

Whenever I try to use the text warp button I'm presented with an error, "Could not complete your request because the type layer uses a faux bold style." How do I fix this?

Highlight your text layer, then from the character palette click the flyout menu at the upper right corner and uncheck "Faux Bold." You should then be able to warp text.
