Q: We have Photoshop 7 on Mac OS X (all the latest updates). An HP Laserjet 2200DN is hooked up via "LPR printer using IP" and using the correct PPD file. Regular printing with e.g. Word or any other application works fine. Printing with Photoshop results in mostly empty pages with some strange icons at the bottom. Any help??

A: You need to send ASCII data to these LPR printers. Choose 'Print with Preview from the File menu. Check the Show more options box. From the Output options, choose ASCII for the encoding.
