a few questions related to the Custom Slideshow
The ability to control text color and size in PSE 3 is good, but there are areas where I am having problems.
When doing an Add Text, it seems that there is horizontal left, right or center placement control. However, there does not seem to be any control vertically over the placement of text - it is going in the middle with no choice to move towards the bottom. In some cases, that overlays the primary subject matter of the photo. Any alternatives?
When a caption is pulled in with the photo it is placed near the bottom of the photo as it was in PSA 2. This is a good position for many of my photos. However, it seems impossible to position the captions and the text added to photos without captions in the same place on the photo. Any alternatives?
I know that I could edit each photo and add a text layer. In fact I did that with one photo as an experiment. However, I am looking for a less time consuming option.
Also a question about the format and sending to friends and family:
The custom slideshow is written as an WMV file. Anyone know if Windows 98 can read a WMV file?
