I just did a Get Photos in the Organizer (Photo Broswer) by clicking on the Camera icon then choosing From Files and Folders. The Look In box of the next screen pointed to the last folder from which I had previously done a Get Photos. This folder is not under My Pictures. So my results seem different than yours - but I do not immeidately know why. Comments from others ???? Barb O Colin Walls 05-19-2005, 05:56 PM Barb I assume John was talking about Editor. If you use Organizer, you'd never notice this functionality. Colin Walls 05-19-2005, 05:58 PM I just checked Editor and it opens the Desktop when I do File/Open. Wendy_E_Williams@adobeforums.com 05-21-2005, 06:20 AM Colin, PSE2 defaults to the last file you opened when you do File>Open ... so does Photoshop. They also keep the settings when you close and reopen the program. Does PSE3 do something different? Wendy Colin Walls 05-21-2005, 06:25 AM Wendy Looks like PSE 3 Editor does work the same way. I never really paid a lot of attention as I just about never use File/Open. I wonder what the OP is actually saying ... Wendy_E_Williams@adobeforums.com 05-21-2005, 06:31 AM Colin ... I was beginning to think that PSE3 worked different .. So now I am really not sure what John means :( Wendy John_Germany@adobeforums.com 05-21-2005, 09:20 AM This was my fault. Everything seems to work now that I changed my Saved Files folder in preferences. Thanks. Wendy_E_Williams@adobeforums.com 05-21-2005, 09:36 AM John, Glad its working OK now. Just one point you have posted your message in the features request section and not too many people look in here ... :) Wendy Colin Walls 05-21-2005, 10:19 AM Everything seems to work now that I changed my Saved Files folder in preferences So it was Org.
