Update IPTC tags in files

The "Write tag info to file" feature should UPDATE the iptc information and keep it in sync with the adobe elements product. Or simply create a second feature called "Modify IPTC tags in files". I'm not sure why anyone would want this feature to be additive (keep old tags and add new ones).

I am in complete agreement with this request. I am excited about the possibilities of tags, but I sure wish I could make changes and deletions as well as additions. I want the tags in the files to match the tags in the catalog!

Colin, I downloaded your keyword stripper, stripIPTC, and it does remove all the keywords so they can be rewritten using PSE -- thanks!!
But it would still be wonderful if PSE allowed us to edit IPTC metadata such as keywords (it seems editing the PSE caption edits the IPTC image description but I have not tried playing with any other IPTC fields).
