Hi. I just bought Elements for my new iMac. I need to exchange the iMac but I need to know if I need to uninstall the new copy of Elements that I just installed on it first. Because I want to install my copy on the computer that I replace it with.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Carl

Well, technically you should trash the application from the old computer before installing it on the one. Just highlight the PE folder in applications, then press command+delete.

Barbara,

Thanks for the reply.

Ok, cool. But when I install it on the new computer, am I going to be allowed to activate it, or is it one of those apps where I can only install it on one machine?

No, there is no activation for PE, thank goodness. :)

It is a good idea to register PE, though, if only because that way Adobe has a record of your serial number, so later if you lose it you can call and get it from them.
