I've done this quite a while back but don't seem to have it right now. I want a list of the files (pictures) on my disks. I also want to print out a Contact sheet of the thumbnails.
I still love the forum and challenges though don't get on as often as I'd like.

Marty,
I'll take a stab at the printing list question. For a complete list of the dir switches, type dir /? at your C: prompt.(For PCs, I am not sure how to do this on a Mac).
If you want to print the list, you can add a "redirection" command to the end. I suggest redirecting to a text file which can be edited and printed with your standard word processing file.
The command would then look like: E:> dir /s /b >>myfiles.txt.
Be sure to use two right arrows (append command) or your file will only have the last file name it reads. You could print directly to your printer (replace >>myfiles.txt with >prn), but I've found the text file gives you a little more formatting control.
I prefer the Contact Sheet from PSE2 as PSE3's contact options leave me cold--can not save them. I can send you that plug-in if you would like.

Ward Grant, Thanks for getting back so soon. Ididn't quite comprehend your dirctions but ... I did rummage through my (NOTES)notebooks and found my answer. Now I am working on the contact sheets.
I uninstalled PSE2 so will have to try PSE3 or PS7.
I'll keep a better eye on my own scratches. By the way, the system I used seemed a lot more steps but what works is OK by me.
Thanks again!

Marty,
Sorry my directions were not as clear as I thought, but I am happy you found your answer. Please repost if you have any additional contact sheet questions and I am sure someone here can give you the needed answers.
