I Have copied The New Camera Raw File Extension as The Previous Versions Into: C:\program Files\common Files\adobe\plug-ins\Cs2\file formats

But This time something went wrong as It did not show up in photoshop when I Click photoshop Plugins in the help menu, all is ok as I Restored Version 3.3 Camera raw and it is shown, something is different in this version that makes it incompatiable with my Computer Or Processor, My Specs Are:

Compaq Presario 7000Z
768 Ram
80GB EIDE Drive
Processor: AMD Athon 1.0 GHZ

Has Anyone Had Any Simular Problems Using this Kind Of Computer Or Processor As I Think it may be My Processor Is Not Compatiable With version 3.4 Camera Raw?

Yes I Did?

I Then Copied The Plug-in (8BI File) As Explained above as I Did for all previous versions but something is different this time, when I Copied Version 3.4 It Copied much slower than Version 3.3 which made me think it may have been different or no being able to read my processor properly, I Restored Version 3.3 For now which worked perfectly, seems to be this new version only (Camera Raw 3.4)

What is the file size of your 3.4 Camera Raw.8BI file?

I am having the same problem. Have spent several hours with Adobe Tech Support without being able to correct the problem. My computer is also the Compaq 7000Z series. Any suggestions??

The File Size Is: 5.08 MB Of The Plugin In It's Original Extension, not the Zipped Compressed Format

OK, the file size sounds right (mine shows as 5204 KB).

Every time a new version of ACR comes out it seems like we have a rash of problems from people who do not follow the installation directions. Why doesn't Adobe spare us these complaints by providing an auto installation program similar to what Russel Brown does with his scripts? Since when do people RTFM?

This doesn't sound like an install issue (though I hope that it is). It sounds like both users have put the file in the correct place and it didn't work. They then put the older version back into place and it does work.
