Default Stretch to specific time

Using AA 2.0, how can I set the time/stretch dialog box so that I can enter a specific legnth?
A radio commercial is 32 sec & I want it exactly 30 sec.
Thanks,
dk

Default Re: Stretch to specific time

In EV, hightlight just the audio from the 32 sec spot. In Effects>Time/Pitch/Stretch select Constant Stretch and you have the option of entering a percentage or a time. You also should have High Precision and Time (preserve pitch) selected.

In MT it's a little different. Select and highlight the first 30 seconds of your 32 sec spot. You may have to nudge the boudaries left and right to make it 30. Have View>Enable Clip Time Stretching enabled. Go to the bottom corner of the area you HAVEN'T highlighted, and grab the edge of the file when the clock appears. Grab and drag the edge of the file back to the edge of your preselected time highlight to make it a 30. You need to have the Hybrid or Time Selection tool enabled under Edit.
