Hi.

I have the following problem:

If I use Creative ASIO drivers Audition becomes slow.

I.e. I click on the Play button and then for 2-3 secs nothing happens and then the playback starts. This is really annoying.

I doubt that this is Creative's fault because I have tested other apps with Creative ASIO and they work normally.

I'm pretty sure if you do a search on the forum for creative you will find that there known problems

ASIO4All is a usual suggestion in this case

What is your hardware setup - laptop, desktop, cpu, ram anything else running

Is this problem in multiview with a few tracks or edit view or both ?

The problem occurs in Edit View, not in Multitrack.

I have a PC, WXPSP3, 2.33 Intel Duo, 2GB Ram, no other programs (AV or similar) and latest sound drivers.

Go into your audio setup in AA and check out your settings - it sounds like you might have configured your Edit view differently to your Multitrack view.

Just a thought

Uhm, I've put ASIO on them all and Edit only lags.

Also whenever I change Audio Setup to ASIO, the Audio Setup screen starts to lag.
