I need to convert "text image" to "editable text" in illustrator. I can't found any option for this in illustrator. But in acrobat using the OCR option i changed the text image back to editable text. I did not used the "Acrobat Capture". I used acrobat 7.0 and 8.0 professional. Is it possible to convert "text image" to "editable text" through programatically using acrobat. I need help for this. Kindly advice me.

Any script or third party plugin available for that.

There is no API to OCR in Acrobat Professional.

If you want to automate the Acrobat product, rather than the Capture
product, I'm not sure why you are asking in the forum for the Capture
product...
